He is active in the American Optometry Association, the North Carolina Optometry Society, and the Piedmont Optometric Society.
He and his wife Anna have two boys  aged 11 and 4.

Our optometrist Dr. Keshav Bhat takes the time to provide you with the best care possible. Rather than being rushed, you know that Dr. Bhat is there to serve your needs.  He believes that getting to know his patients builds a rapport and trust that takes vision care to the highest level.

Dr. Bhat was born and raised in India. He gained his graduate degree from India and was the proud recipient of a Scholarship to pursue Masters Degree in Auckland, New Zealand. He then completed a Doctorate at the New England College of Optometry with residencies at Veterans Affairs Center, New England Eye Institute, Lahey Eye Hospital and East Boston Health Center.

Each year he continues his education, studying the latest advances with the nation’s foremost clinicians. This extensive focus on education allows him to offer today’s state-of-the-art diagnosis and treatments as an optometrist who specializes in Dry Eye Therapy, latest advances in contact lenses, glaucoma and diabetic eyecare.

He is active in the American Optometry Association, the North Carolina Optometry Society, and the Piedmont Optometric Society. Dr. Bhat and his wife Annapoorani have lived in Matthews since 2003 with their two sons Vittal and Ananth.

Margie McKown

Ms. McKown has over 20 years of experience in the ophthalmic industry. She has an extensive knowledge of products, a keen sense of style and fashion and a passion for customer service.

Margie has a flair for keeping the optical dispensary brimming with exciting frame styles to enhance everyone’s personality. She takes great care to ensure that your eyewear is fit precisely for comfortable wearing.

Niki Burton

When you visit our office, Niki will be the one to welcome you and to make certain that you are assisted right away.   She has prior experience as an optometric technician, as well as her current role in caring for our patients at the front desk.  She understands insurance issues very well and  can research and answer any questions you may have about your visit to our office.
