Refraction, the part of your examination when the optometrist determines your eyeglass prescription and for many people the most important part of the exam, has been essentially unchanged over the past 40 years.  The instrument used to measure the prescription, called a phoroptor, has changed remarkably little until very recently. We are proud to integrate new digital phoroptors into our examinations to accurately measure your prescription. This new computer controlled instrument allows Dr. Bhat to precisely measure your prescription with greater accuracy.
